Words of Water Creative Writing Workshop

A creative writing workshop inspired by the various bodies of water at Oare Gunpowder Works, Faversham. We will explore the language used around describing various surrounding bodies of water: their uses, sounds, movements and ceremonies/rituals of water. We will apply a variety of writing skills such as poetry, letters and short stories. These were folded into paper boats, which will be set to float in the nearby leat and we will watch them drift away.

An opportunity to meet new people, make friends, share ideas and let your imagination flow. Learn some origami and some history about the site and the importance of the surrounding bodies of water.

All ages and abilities are welcome.
